When the staff created the URI WCenter blog last spring, we brainstormed a number of types of posts. Here's the list (with explanations as needed):
announcements
assignments - descriptions of common writing projects
diversity - posts on the theme of diversity
events - like announcements?
idea bucket - creative ideas for tutoring strategies
images
kvetch - complaints about work in the Center
proposal - policy change ideas
resources - online (and other) tutoring resources
Use these designations to "label" your posts, if you like. Or just look down the list to help you invent something to post.

I like social class as a theme, and I also liked Tim's suggestion -- student athletes and the writing center.
