Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you all have survived the snowstorm and are safe at home in your warm cozy houses.
I'm writing in regards to the possibility of a Writing event. I recently had dinner with President Dooley, and he expressed interest in meeting with different student groups from campus. You can sign up through student senate, and spend the evening at the president's house for dinner, games, and general tomfoolery. I thought it might be nice to look into this as an event for the writing center crew, with the possibility of writing the consultants as well? I recently recieved a message from one of the students from my WRT 353 class, asking how my semester was. It occured to me then that we haven't seen the consultants at all! I thought it would be nice to meet up with them, chat, and increase our presence on campus.
